St. Anne's Convent Meharoni – Jhansi

Mehroni: Bishop of Jhansi wanted us to take up a school at Mehroni. This is full pledged school and the Bishop wanted our sisters to teach in this school. There was a building which was constructed for the stay of the Parish Priest and now that is converted into convent. After needed repairs and painting this building was blessed on 24th June, our Founder's Day by Bishop Peter Parapullil a Concelebrated Mass offered in the Church which is attached to the convent building and the Blessed Sacrament was installed in the convent. There were about fifteen Priests and few sisters from the neighboring community participated in the inaugural function. The pioneers of this community are Sr. Prabha Superior and the members are Srs. Merina and Jyothi Priya. They are teaching in different classes. Sr. Merina helps in the administration of the Institution. May the blessings of God be with them abundantly that they may impart the message of God's love through their teaching and Pastoral Ministry in this area.
