St. Anne's Convent Srinivaspur

Our foundation in Srinivaspur started on 17th March 1996 to work in collaboration with the MSFS fathers. A house was taken for rent. The foundational presence started with the Eucharistic celebration by Fr. George Puriyadam. Mother Angela Mercy the Superior General and Mother Margaret Mary the Provincial Superior and many other sisters were present for the event. Sr. Philomena Antony was the first Superior and Sr. Emilie was posted as the first LKG teacher for the SFS School. The main purpose was to have Socio-medical apostolate and therefore a house was rented and started the dispensary on 8th September 1996. By 25th October 1997, the rented house for dispensary was vacated and shifted to our own purchased land in a shed and continued our service there. By 25th March 1998, we got the new house constructed and blessed.
We started pre-nursery of our own on 10th June 1998 with 56 students. But it was closed down in 2000 Later our services were withdrawn from SFS school. The community at Srinivaspur was made purely Socio-Medical centre.
